Ok, for all those people who are having mouse issues, I have also experienced
this on my PS/2 based mouse issue, is this by design or happens only on PS/2
based mouses or serial mouses or on all mouses. correction should be mices :)
Anyway, the bug has been filed as bug #105169 so people who are

responsive while clicking the forward button & one has to click couple
of times or strain oneself, but I think that would be a different bug
than the one file filed in here. The bug is specifically for the crash
which is not happening
Yes, 0.6.9 is working.
An issue still remains - after the mouse check you have to switch the
focus (to ckick on the desktop, for example) to click the Forward
button, otherwise, if the focus is not switched, the Forward button
doesn't work.

I think that you probably should mark them all as duplicates, they seem

I have just booted from the Feisty Desktop i386 CD so as to do an
install. Invited to complete the Ubuntu device database information
was up to the final screen that asks for additional comments when the
crash was generated. I haver not run any other user level applications

I had the same problem with Feisty Beta (alternate CD install right
BEFORE any updates). After filling out the comments after the lastest
test, the application stopped responding and went crashing a few monents
after that. Apart from the hwdb-gui, only a terminal was running... i
