Well, still an issue, I am using Kaffeine now, stilla have VLC in case things
get fixed.
I am using Lubuntu 12.04, I can't upgrade at the moment.
I installed xorg-server-core-dbg and dev. rebooting, open VLC (crashing), and
then typing what you said, this is what i get from the bug colecting

Oh, by the way, I remember I conected a while ago my PC to a 1080p Monitor, but
now I am in a 1280x1024 IBM E54 monitor. I thought I saw something about my
1080p monitor (BlueSense)

been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
