reinstating Incomplete state - have not yet had the time to look into
that; in the meantime, however, the computer has been updated to
oneiric. Will try to reproduce and then mark this bug report
appropriately.

To manage
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.5kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both the
linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.
Once you've tested the
Joseph, a test is possible, but since the machine is remote ( 100 km
away), it'll have to wait several days until I get on site, and then I
need to be lucky enough to reproduce it.
