Sometime, possibly when going from Alpha 2 to Beta 1 of 12:10, the issue
must have been picked up for the package manager now works. I always work
with the tatest development edition, because I like to follow the leading
edge of a new offering, but I run the risk of this sort of issue - namely

There is no special text. All yo have to do is click on package manager
at the left side of the screen and it will ask you to repair it before
you can use it, and the repair does not work.
