Its a elantech trackpath i found the solution here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11770109 just add sudo modprobe -r psmouse sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/options and adding the line: options psmouse proto=imps Then close and reboot. And that works
