Hi
I'm not sure of my BIOS version (strictly speaking its not really BIOS
anymore, rather EFI). I've managed to mess up my EFI partition at some
stage so windows doesn't work anymore, so can't update bios settings.
Here's the output of dmidecode:

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of
the following terminal command:
sudo dm
Its a elantech trackpath i found the solution here

just add
sudo modprobe -r psmouse sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps sudo gedit
/etc/modprobe.d/options and adding the line:
options psmouse proto=imps Then close and reboot.
And that works
