Issue is that when the icon is moved close to trash , a space gets created on
launcher sometimes above switcher icon and sometimes a space is created at the
original location of the application on launcher from where the icon is being
dragged out from. See screenshot.

This is normal, and expected. Since the icon is above the launcher, it
displays empty space instead of a horizontal line.
However, the designers might want to change that since it's somewhat
misleading in this case.
