Both system and session bus should be running in a default session, unless the
reporters say they have tweaked their config or dbus is not running it could be
a race.
There have been other cases of dbus not b
Note that bug #104197 and bug #104973 are failures to connect to the
system bus, while this bug and bug #104520 are failures to connect to
the session bus.
Jani: the system-config-printer applet cannot function correctly without
the system bus since it does not (and should not) poll, and does not
kill your system as in the whole session crashes?
Is it started from gdm? Do you usually have dbus running (does thunar show
removable devices for instance)
