The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

Same problem here in Hardy. Can not stay connected to one AP (in my
case repeater) with the same SSID.
Works in Windows. non0hardware problem... No problems with wireless
in Ubuntu until now...

I am having the same problem. The wireless network I am on has multiple
Cisco Aironet 1100s in range. The connection "roams" between the
different APs.
I am running the most up to date version of Gusty.

I had limited success today with iwconfig in the terminal. I used:
iwconfig eth1 essid "CatChat" rate 54M mode Managed channel 11
(even though iwlist scan says that the ap is Master) this gave me access for
the longest period of time that i've had (15 minutes) and instead of dropping
the conn
