Public bug reported: [Rationale]
In the Edubuntu Unity and Gnome-Fallback sessions, Nepomuk Backup and Nepomuk File Indexing Controller still appears in the menus. These are only really useful in KDE, and to hide them, we added override desktop entries that were placed in /usr/share/ubuntu/applications. In precise, this path changed to /usr/share/ubuntu/gnome-fallback for the fallback session. [Impact] Users see two extra menu entries that shouldn't be there. It's low- impact, but it's a regression. [Test Case] In the Gnome Fallback session, click on Applications and navigate to System Tools. There should be no Nepomuk entries. [Regression Potential] Please add if any. ** Affects: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Assignee: Jonathan Carter (jonathan) Status: Confirmed ** Tags: edubuntu ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1032256 Title: Incorrect menu items appear in Edubuntu due to incorrect path in debian/edubuntu-artwork.install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edubuntu-artwork/+bug/1032256/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
