Public bug reported: I just purchased a brand new Lenovo X230 tablet computer with a multi-touch screen. I was aware that the multitouch function did not yet work in Ubuntu. The screen showed up fine until this morning, when an update caused all to turn black. I have tried re-booting, running in safe mode, and re-installing the system. So far, nothing works. The only way I can get the computer to work is by running it from the USB installation key. (I assume that loads some default driver that the screen is comfortable with.)
