I was having the same issue, and booted with the extra parameter. I can

no i have never tried to install ubuntu on this computer. ive installed
it in a vm but that shouldn't have anything to do with this.

this is from trying to boot 12.04 but as far as i can tell its the same
error message. im going to try and boot the daily and ill post the
