I uninstalled the evolution-plugins per Jean-Baptiste Laliement. This
has fixed my problem, I can now apply update. Do I need to close this
issue?

I may se what is happing. A few weeks, maybe a few months ago I did not
apply all the updates to Evolution as I use Thunderbird for my e-mail.
I thought that may be a mistake, but I dont know how to undo this. When
I run update manager, I have 3 unchecked boxes for Evolution. Maybe I

To workaround this issue you can uninstall evolution-plugins, if you don't use
evolution.
