System fails to boot with 2.6.20-14
After the past few days of updates I tried booting the 2.6.20-14-generic-amd64
kernel again, and the system boots just fine now. (There is an nvidia driver
version problem, but that's a different matter and easily worked around)
I've marked this bug as Rejected.

I did boot without `quiet splash'. but nothing out of the ordinary shows
up. The devices are detected as they should with partitions present. No
mention of timeouts or limited dma speeds like bug #103679. I'd attach
a boot log trace, but I can't find my nullmodem cable anywhere :-P

might be related to #103679, and to #103608 ?
(I am the original reporter of the second, and I have seen the same error
messages as in the first)
