Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported

further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other repo
The bug I reported here is different than all of those. In mine, when
you press ALT-TAB, you just get NOTHING selected. Very annoying when
you're in the groove quickly switching from editor to browser.

Oh, and I forgot to say -- bug 996480 is about the gnome fallback
session; this report is about Unity. So I'll re-open this. I'm not
marking it as confirmed, myself, 'cause I can't seem to reproduce quite
this case, where neither window ends up focused. Thanks.

My impression is, that's not what androith is describing. I think bug
996480 is about keyboard shortcuts not being active. In this report,
Alt-Tab takes an action, but isn't working correctly. As in other
reports about window switching in Unity, like bug 868528 or bug 1035668.

Is this the only keyboard shortcut not working? Try this first and see if it
fixes it:
Go to System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager, and under
Window Management enable Static Application Switche
