I'm not that familiar with acpid or how it works, however, I think that
it wont even start writing the log since: bash: cd: /var/log/acpid: Not
a directory
My laptops ( Acer Aspire 1414 ) bios is up to date.
# uname -a
Linux LygoAspire 2.6.20-13-386 #2 Sun Mar 25 00:18:53 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
I meant, `cat /var/log/acpid` outputs nothing...
