No tray icon in gnome3 (classic too)
To manage notifications
I had that behaviour when using the 0.8-series version in the repo's.
The notification was was there, but there was no icon, so only when I directly
clicked on it would it appear.
I uninstalled that, downloaded the 0.9-series from backports and did a dpkg
-i on the .deb file
after logging out
And after a fresh restart, I now also have the Context-menu item for
sparkleshare. (and have had one sparkleshare fatal unhandled
exception). So it seems to be working for me now.
