Thanks Jim, that's helpful. I'll leave the bug open a bit longer so the
other original submitters have a chance to confirm or deny; if all looks
good, I expect we can close this bug in a few days.
In case it helps, "your" bug report was Bug #115524 opened on 2007-05-18

Could you please check to see whether this bug still exists in a more
recent release of Ubuntu -- either Intrepid 8.10 or Jaunty 9.04?
I am unable to duplicate this in Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 amd64.
There is also a much newer version of bibledit (3.7-1) now in Debian
unstable, so in Ubuntu 9.10 Karm
