i have a somewhat similar bug
when i installed the beta
the mount program did creat an fstab with all of the appropriate enteries for
each partition
but from some reason it does not really mount them
when i try to enter the drive it tells me it can't read it
have no idea why
this was not a pr
re-oops. my cdrom is indeed /dev/scd0 but also /dev/cdrom...

this is due to the new way the kernel deals with PATA devices : SATA and
PATA are now used in a more unified way I believe, and as a result, no
more "hdX"...
to fix any problem you may encounter, change your /etc/fstab
accordingly.
by the way, my cdrom drive is now /dev/scd0.
