The screenshot says "Retrieving file 1 out of 3" not anything about CD-ROM.
You can try doing a screen cast, and then freeze / grab frame with offending
string.

somebody post a screenshot or something or make sure that the string has
been quoted exactly?

I believe the string shown is external to ubiquity and maybe it comes
from debian-installer.
Certainly changing it to a more generic "Checking install media" would
be better.
