Would it be possible for you to test some of the other v3.6 release
candidates? We would need to know the first version that does not have
the bug. We can then perform a reverse bisect to identify the exact
commit that fixes the bug.

The 3.6.1-quantal kernel is actually an upstream kernel. A fix in the
3.6 kernel will not make it into Quantal since it is based off of 3.5.

I can confirm that installing the 3.6rc5 mainline kernel solves this
