Public bug reported: I would like to include two UI fixes in the next indicator-messages release (due later today):
1. unread message counts are not drawn as lozenges This is a regression from Precise and one of the defining visual features of the menu. 2. messaging menu should be hidden when no applications use it (bug #1045039) The new design doesn't include the "Set up..." items anymore. This fix hides the menu when it would otherwise be empty. Can we please make a ui freeze exception for those two? ** Affects: indicator-messages Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: indicator-messages (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: ubuntu ** Also affects: indicator-messages (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1046331 Title: [UIFe] Messaging menu is missing lozenges and is visible even when no apps use it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-messages/+bug/1046331/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
