Public bug reported: When reading the documentation from within paraview (select Help -> Help from the menu), the images are not displayed. There is however the caption for them (eg. "Figure 1.2 Searching in lists" in the Introduction section).
The terminal window I started paraview in shows some error messages: ---- JPEG datastream contains no image JPEG datastream contains no image libpng error: Read Error libpng error: Read Error libpng error: Read Error libpng error: Read Error ---- Ansgar ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: paraview 3.14.1-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-29.46-generic 3.2.24 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-29-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu13 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Sep 12 11:23:18 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111012) SourcePackage: paraview UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-05-07 (127 days ago) ** Affects: paraview (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049567 Title: images missing from documentation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/paraview/+bug/1049567/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
