Thanks for looking into this. I wish I could be more helpful here, but I
simply don't have the time to help debug this issue at the moment. If
things eventually calm down at work, I may be able resubmit the bug with a
proper stack trace.

I'm using that version of keepassx on ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS myself quite
extensively and do not experience these symptoms. Unfortunately,
without a proper backtrace there is little that can be done about this
problem.
