I can confirm this is still a problem with kvm 18-1ubuntu1. It depends
on kvm-api-9, which is reported as being uninstallable. I'm using the
2.6.20-14-generic kernel on amd64. So the status of this bug should be
reverted to 'Confirmed' or 'In progress'.

such kvm-api-X package that satisfies that dependency. So it's
impossible to install kvm.
