I have just attempted to reproduce this issue with both Feisty and Gutsy
without similar results. I got the quick flash of the directory refresh
between the server and the localhost and at most it consumed 5.6% of the
CPU.
Are you still having similar issues?

not expired. noone bothers maintaining kftpgrabber. its has many bugs
and noone cares.
