Public bug reported:

when attempting to install libc6-xen, I keep running into a dependency
problem:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libc6-xen: PreDepends: libc6 (= 2.4-1ubuntu12) but 2.4-1ubuntu12.3 is to be
installed
E: Broken packages

however, I cannot find libc6=2.4-1ubuntu12.3 anywhere on
packages.ubuntu.com, and apt-cache show libc6 indeed shows the available
version to be 2.4-1ubuntu12.

Where is this mysterious libc6=2.4-1ubuntu12.3 coming from?

My hope is that this is somehow the result of a misconfiguration of
sources.list on my part.

** Affects: glibc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
