Seems to work in 0.2.3-2 (in quantal), not obvious what fixed it though. Gpicview looks like it's actually a core package (Task: lubuntu-desktop) , and thus it might be suitable for an SRU to update Precise; if you think this is appropriate please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
However, it might be worth triaging it a little more on your setup first, since it's not obvious what fixed it on Quantal for me. ** Changed in: gpicview (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: gpicview (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055520 Title: Cannot open high resolution files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gpicview/+bug/1055520/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
