As of now, minitube is still at 1.9 rather then 1.9.1 and thus is almost
totally useless. Is there any movement on the FFe (Feature Freeze
exception) or are we going to be suck with a useless minitube for
another half year?

Debian sid seems to have 1.9, and so does Ubuntu Quantal.. Which we
believed was the version that solved these issues? I've checked with
upstream, and that seems to to indicate 1.9 is the latest released
version.

The diff looks fine, and I agree that we don't seem to gain much by an
attempt to backport just the YouTube API changes. It builds cleanly on
quantal/i386. If somebody runs syncpackage over this then I'll happily
approve it in the queue. In the meantime, FFe granted.
