Note: Ubuntu already have toolame(universe),
Cinelerra is the only full-featured non-linear video editor available
for Linux. It is released under the GPL, which means it wouldn't be an
ethical problem to have it in the official repository.
Please, at least get the current Ubuntu packages in the official
repositories. This is quality Free
Unfortunately, there are a lot of tricky licensing issues surrounding
this package, particularly in relation to libraries/code used, and
fonts. The UbuntuStudio team are trying to work out a solution, but I
doubt there will be anything concrete any time soon.
