I'm still not able to resume after suspending to ram. Some thoughts/facts:
- with 8.04 and fglrx I suspend to ram was ok
- with 8.10 fglrx stopped working for my mobilty radeon 9700. So with radeon
this bug got important for me again
- with 8.10, radeon and 2.6.27 suspend to ram works, when I do t
The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:

Hi all,
same problem here. I've got a samsung p35 too. I'm also running the
radeon driver. Sometimes the system resumes after suspending to ram but
in most cases it's not.

I tried it 2 weeks after the final release and it didn't work. While the
beta, I belive it was the beta 5, suspend to ram has worked with the
radeon driver. Now the system resumes but the display is black/off. I
can press ctrl+alt+del but that didn't bring up the display again. Only
way is a restar
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Now that the final version of Feisty Fawn is available we were
wondering if this issue still exists. Thanks in advance.

I've tested the fglrx, when I set SAVE_VBE_STATE to false it works again. With
radeon the screen was black and the system was running.
What has been change on the radeon-driver the last 4 days? Some of it crashes
suspend to ram / mem (S3) on my notebook.
