Public bug reported:

First of all, sorry for my poor knowledge of Linux OS! I am trying to
migrate the PC's from my company to Linux and I'm choosing Ubuntu
package (today I receive the CD's with 6.06 LTS distribution. In 5 sec i
tried to boot from one CD, but I encountered the following problem:

I see the menu, I can change the resolution and also see the Help menu,
but when I try to boot-up from the CD. After "decompiling..." message
and "boot from kernel..." message, the system hangs.

I use an Asus laptop (A6KT mboard, Turion64 mobile tehnology, 1024 Mb).
On other system, the CD is working just fine...
