as described by " pia" the commandline worked.

Hi butthead,
just install synfig as well as synfig studio, and run synfig from the
command line. The render an animation run synfig -o
.. Eg - synfig test.sif -o test.mpg and
it'll use the appropriate renderer.
I'm also keen for this to be fixed. Isn't great for doing demos :)

I experienced the same error but was wondering where I can find the command
line version of synfigstdio.
I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 and Synfig from the standard ubuntu Repository.

I'm getting the same error.
I can render fine using the synfig command line tool, only rendering via
synfigstudio produces this crash.
