using mplayer to play videos with gl2 overlays.  As you can see from the
screen shot, if I am multitasking, other windows get corrupted.  It will
take hours or days to reproduce this, since it occurs with less
frequency.

basically, play some videos, look for corruption, take a screenshot,
which i've attached below
