x2x works fine on xubuntu 10.04

on xubuntu 12.04 the cursor locks to the left hand of the screen when
you use x2x

command such as:

ssh -X user@192.168.1.65 -C "x2x -east -to :0"

I am using NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver and the NVIDIA X Server 
"twinview" (dual monitors) on the machine I am trying to control from the

machine the above command is issued from

should that be an issue .. works fine on 10.04
