I'm not completely sure, but I think it's the same problem I have. Looking at Additional Drivers I can see my the options for the Ati Graphic Card and the Wi-Fi card. But when I plug in my Hauppage DVB-T that needs proprietary drivers to work, it isn't listed in Additional Drivers though they are a

On my system, I have a NVIDIA card that in all past releases, jockey would notify me of missing proprietary updates. Now, it says none in use and even when I install nvidia-current-updates it shows in a low resolution 1024x768 mode on a 1440x900 monitor. -- You received this bug notification beca

I used to be able to swith from ubuntu drivers to proprietary drivers (i've been testing battery life)... but today when i tried to switch to proprietary drivers, after clicking "apply changes", the window went blank and now it says "no proprietary drivers available",
