I'm not sure why every inbox mail for you is being tagged "important",
because that's not the case here and you're the first person to report
this as an issue (although, I was already aware of it, having hit it on
the occasional time Google flags a message as important).

Yes, you right. But we are talking about default settings of Gmail box
and specifically about "Important" tag. And in this case almost every
inbox mail is tagged as "important". And here we have this duplicate
problem...
You are trying to tell me that it is not possible on client side to make

I don't think this is fixable client side save for some code actually
checking to see if the messages are the same. The question then is
which one to show? The GMail "folders" are simply tags which the GMail
server serves as a folder. Some people might have stuff not shown in
their inbox once it

And it is hard for me to suggest something specific.
Perhaps like an exception specifically for Gmail boxes?
I think it is quite annoying issue. And it would be great if you, or
somebody find a way to fix this.

Maybe it is possible just to ignore it in notifications? Because, every
message that gets to the folder "Important" also gets to Inbox folder.

Tbh, I'm not really sure how to fix this, or if it can be properly
fixed. The "Important" folder just appears as any other normal IMAP
folder
