Public bug reported: 12.04 was snappy on this machine, now it takes a full second to open dash and about half a second for each letter that you type to appear. What's going on? Workaround: Set "Dash Blur" to "No Blur" in CompizConfig and it's as fast as it was in 12.04 (but ugly).
