today i encounter that bug too, now on 13.10 and kernel 3.8.0-30-generic
i add the pakages that depends on selinux to the affected projects, as it
should be removed from the dependencies list.
ohad@comp1:~$ aptitude why libselinux1
i xserver-xorg-core Depends libselinux1 (>= 2.0.82)
ohad@comp1
With kernel 3.5.0-17-generic the problem doesn't occur whilst with the
kernels 3.5.0-21-generic and 3.5.0-22-generic the problem occurs indeed!

Hi,
I'am affected, too.
libselinux1 (2.1.9.5ubuntu1) has been installed when I installed apache.
Since then 'sudo' quits with the error info above as posted by Ohadcn.
I use 12.10 32-bit.
The bug seems to be known elsewhere:

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
** Changed in: sudo (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Confirmed
