I run Windows 98 in the VM (don't ask...), and I can't suspend that. But I don't think that's the issue. Even if I exit the VM, suspend Ubuntu, and then restart the VM, the Samba networking fails. If I exit the VM, suspend Ubuntu, restart vmware-player, and then restart the VM, all is fine. Hence m
