Title:
High CPU
Ok, that's interesting.
I'm currently using Gnome Fallback (without effects) and although
everything much smoother, the CPU usage is still high, when dragging the
window, but I don't feel it. Maybe it's a problem with x.org. because I
don't have that much usage of the CPU in in gnome shell, when
I guess it's the compiz and nvidia driver problem

Kay,
I would like to make this bug about a single problem, as with all bugs.

Kay,
If fullscreen performance is the problem then please try:
1. sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
2. Run: ccsm
3. CCSM Composite Unredirect Fullscreen Windows = ON

And also a question I wanted to ask:
Can I run noveau and nvidia proprietary drivers parallelly?
like having noveau for desktop and nvidia drivers for 3d fullscreen
applications.

I think this bug is the combination of multiple problems we already know about:
1. NVIDIA uses much more CPU than any other graphics driver.
2. [bug 1049214] NVIDIA is extra-sensitive to the X event queue. So compiz
0.9.8 with its extra XSyncs (to avoid bugs) can be slower on NVIDIA than
