Public bug reported: Based on the details of the script `/usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/wireless', I believe it is a power mode switcher for the wireless network device enabled in the system. The script turns off power management of wireless network card when computer is running in AC mode and turns power management on when switching to Battery Mode.
However the script does not work on my laptop with Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter. The power management is always turned on no matter AC is plugged in or not. The wireless adapter is driven by ath9k driver and well supported in my system.
