I re-tested it on Lenovo T61 using the 25 Sep daily build i386 desktop
version, and this bug did not occour.

Sorry. Since I thought this bug is platform independent, so I tested it
on another platform and reported it was fixed. I tested it on Santa Rosa
and found it is still not fixed. Please reopen it. Thanks!

upstream version of gfxboot, and I'd like to confirm that the bug is
still present there before investigating further.
