Sending "after.png" file.
To be mentioned, opening new tab via menu (by pressing "Alt+F", then
"t") works correctly. The bug affects only shortcut.

In my case (Lubuntu 12.10 i386 running on Pentium III 500 MHz) two new tabs are
opened. Please see the attached screenshots.
"before.png" shows lxterminal window just after it has started.
"after.png" shows lxterminal window after pressing Ctrl+Shift+T.
"^T" symbol appears too, I forgot to mention
What I see is that anything on the existing opened terminal appears in
the 1st tab and a new tab opens. This is the behavior I expect. The bug
would be that the ^T symbol also appears in the new tab.
