Public bug reported: I used to have this problem, but it eventually went away, and now it's back.
When I boot, my keyboard and mouse are nonfunctional. They become functional if I wait, just about long enough to wake my slow Vista netbook from sleep and log in via ssh. This is relevant because if I log in via ssh, my keyboard and mouse start working. But if I wait, they will start working on their own. This is horribly frustrating. I would report a problem through ubuntu-bug except apport tells me that the report is for a package that is not installed when I run ubuntu- bug.. and what would I report against, anyway? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1078717 Title: keyboard and mouse nonfunctional at boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1078717/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
