Public bug reported:

I used to have this problem, but it eventually went away, and now it's
back.

When I boot, my keyboard and mouse are nonfunctional. They become
functional if I wait, just about long enough to wake my slow Vista
netbook from sleep and log in via ssh. This is relevant because if I log
in via ssh, my keyboard and mouse start working. But if I wait, they
will start working on their own.

This is horribly frustrating.

I would report a problem through ubuntu-bug except apport tells me that
the report is for a package that is not installed when I run ubuntu-
bug.. and what would I report against, anyway?
