I assume this was fixed at some point due to improved HiDPI support.
However, if this particular issue is still reproducible, we will reopen
the report.

I meanwhile found the problem. It was the monitors.xml, which contained
a wrong resolution (too high). I had to manually change them with a text
editor. This solved the problem.
