Public bug reported:

After an improper shutdown, freeze, crash on two occasions now, after my
encrypted home drive will not mount after being unlocked, giving the
error "bad geometry: block count X exceeds size of device (X blocks)".
If I try to mount after booting up in the guest session I see the same
error in dmesg as well.

Interestingly enough if I use the lucid livecd to boot and mount the
partition, I encounter no issues and it mounts successfully. When I boot
back to my regular install, which is quantal, the issue seems to have
been resolved and the /home directory mounts without any problems.

I am running quantal which I recently upgraded to from lucid.
