Public bug reported: after updating ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04, Ubuntu Software Center didn't list Zram as being installed, and it didn't give the option to install it. I tried installing it using "sudo apt-get install zram-config" and it then crashed. "sudo apt-get remove zram-config" seemed to work... I will try installing it later ProblemType: Package DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: zram-config 0.1 Uname: Linux 3.3.0-030300-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu15 AptOrdering: zram-config: Install zram-config: Configure Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Nov 26 06:26:15 2012 Dependencies: DuplicateSignature: Setting up zram-config (0.1) ... start: Job failed to start invoke-rc.d: initscript zram-config, action "start" failed. dpkg: error processing zram-config (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release i386 (20111012) MarkForUpload: True PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: zram-config Title: package zram-config 0.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-11-23 (2 days ago) ** Affects: zram-config (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-package i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1083051 Title: zram-config not installed after update to 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zram-config/+bug/1083051/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
