Public bug reported: I run two monitors and when setting sna acceleration via xorg.conf, the screen fails to load. One screen (screen 0 below) shows the message indicating the resolution and/or frequency is out of range and the other screen shows a smaller screen with just a mouse pointer and nothing else.
