Hi,
this upgrade is in gutsy (ubuntu 7.10).
Beware that it's still in alpha state, but the card is now "again"
(meaning since ubuntu edgy) working perfectly.

Which upgrade is that?
I've been on and off trying to get this card working since I installed
Feisty back in May. My system is totally up to date, minus backports
and proposed. It worked perfectly in a Debian testing/unstable I was
running.
In my system, the card 'works', but it's horribly slow
The card works fine with the latest package upgrade.

Same thing happens here, using the WG511v1 on a Laptop (worked fine with
6.10), but it doesn't work with 7.04 anymore.
Dmesg, lspci etc pp. after boot and after first unplug/plug added.
When trying to unplug the card second time it causes a kernel panic:

I'm seeing something similar (I think). I have a 3Com Office Connect
3CRWE154G72 PCMCIA card, which uses the prism54 driver. On inserting
the card I get "Cannot read eeprom"; on then removing and reinserting

repository, but the problem is still there.
