If F10 works, then press Shift+F10 four times at the CD boot menu and
then press F2. That should put it into a debug mode where it displays
the raw keycode somewhere on the screen; I'd like to know what that is.

I've found the switcher! When off my F2 really renames a file instead of
opening home or else...
Therefore the first problem actually is NOT of Ubuntu, but mine, but
still remains the second problem about the slash. I think it's better to
erase this bug and create anotehr one only with this
Yesterday I've noticed, while configuring keyboard shortcuts in GNOME,
that my F1-F12 keys are mapped as special commands like Ctrl + S and
more that I don't remember (I'm at work), and that over the default
printed key function on my keyboard there are additional funcions,
therefore being F1-F12
I discovered right now that the F2 key doesn't work the same way in my
keyboard and other common models. On mine, it opens my home directory,
but on normal keyborads it does what I was frustated to think that GNOME
didn't, which was simply to rename a file.
So I think the clear problem is: my
